As a passionate sourdough baker, I am always thinking of new and exciting recipes to create. When the summer berry season arrived, my garden was bursting with juicy, ripe berries! I knew I had to give it a go in created a sourdough bread incorporating these fresh berries. After a few trials, I felt it needed a bit more sweetness that what the berries were offering. That is why I decided to add white chocolate to the recipe. The result? The most amazing dessert sourdough that ever was!

Each fruit variety below is harmoniously complimented by the white chocolate, creating the perfect blend of tart & sweet!
Strawberry 🍓
They are simultaneously sweet and tangy, with a hint of acidity that adds a refreshing zing. When you take a bite, the initial burst of sweetness is followed by a subtle tartness that keeps your taste buds wanting more.
Raspberry
Some raspberries lean more towards the sweeter side, with a mild tartness that complements the sweetness perfectly. On the other hand, there are raspberries that have a more pronounced tartness. These tart raspberries add a zingy and slightly acidic element, but are balanced by the sweetness of the white chocolate in this berry sourdough recipe.
Blueberry 🫐
