This is a nice middle of the road quantity. You can always buy more later if increase how many ferments you have going at one time.
Not only do I recommend these weights because they are non-porous and lead-free, but also because they are heavier than other glass weights out there. The heavier the better since fermenting weights are one of the essential factors of creating a safe fermentation.
